Working in a law firm after finishing high school, you naturally gain a professional and meticulous work ethic - however, I realised a creative outlet was missing. Then, with a Bachelor of Design under my belt, I began working with The Press on newspaper advertising, before gaining diverse experience in a boutique graphic design firm in Wellington's CBD (beside the best sushi in town).
After two and a half years, an opportunity arose to work with Weta Digital, and, from learning the new software and practices, it resulted in working on 27 films in 6 years.
Now with getting my feet wet in design again, like various governmental collateral and local branding work for a builder, only confirms that it's a privilege to be a designer. I'm really inspired to create strong visual solutions for businesses that need help.
